ResumeLite
Tab. VIA résumé manager that runs locally: write each experience once, in a library, and pick a résumé out of it for each role.
Brief
Every application calls for a rewritten résumé. After a few rounds, one project has several versions across several résumés, and two months later it’s hard to tell which is accurate.
Process
ResumeLite separates the facts from the résumé. The experience library is the single source of truth: each project is written once, in full, and a résumé just picks a few entries and adjusts the wording for the role. All data lives in local JSON files, never in the cloud; edits save themselves, and when a file on disk changes, the interface refreshes.
It is a fork of the open-source Reactive Resume, with the library, tailored résumés and template sharing added and the interface made bilingual. On Windows it packages into a portable app; the data sits in a folder next to it, and deleting that folder uninstalls it cleanly.
Outcome
It is built for one person: no accounts, no sync. The code is open source on GitHub under MIT.
